Ancestars Diptych Original

These beloved paintings have been in my collection since 2020. When I returned from Egypt, I knew I wanted to honor the lineages of women leaders, goddesses and pharaoes who ruled in ancient times and yet were intentionally erraced from history books. Here I chose to honor Hatshepsut and Nefertiti who each ruled over Egypt at critical times in the empires history.
